Ricordando Janis - Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge - giorno 1

Yay, Alice! I am so very happy to see your card in our Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge! I absolutely love the way you save scraps, magazine bits, leftovers from previous projects, and food packaging and then pull it all together to make such an adorable card! I save these things too but then don't remember to use them, so this is very impressive! The kitty is adorable, and maybe you should not have mentioned the stain on her face because I thought it was intentional! It makes her smile stand out, it's purr-fect! I love your card, my sweet friend! And thank you for your kind words about our Honeydew. Yes, Brian and I cried many tears, and we still think of him every day. I am going to make a blog post with some photos in a few days so stay tuned. Sending love and hugs and peaceful wishes!

This is just precious with that little kitty and such a wonderful tribute to Janis as well. I love how you created your own stripes and especially that fun Santa hat, The pawprints at the bottom just make this a delightful card for Christmas. Wishing you the best possible day along with many hugs from afar.

Hi Alice! Wanted to stop by and visit you since you left such a nice comment on my blog. Sometimes when I'm making a card I have to tell myself it looks fine and to step away before I mess it up. The first thing I noticed about your card is the cute look on the cat's face, so I don't think your little dot mattered at all. It's a really cute card! Hugs, Debi

Heeeello Alice! Its so very nice to see you in blogland again and to see your gorgeous card work. Totally thought the little mark on kitties face was a part of its cute and very joyous expression. Your shading is gorgeous! Bits of scraps gathered here and there make remarkable additives to craft work, its being creative and resourceful. Its a beautifully happy card!
